Ranks & conditions
What SS+, X+ 90%, SXD +300% +300kill, Burrowed and the other recipe conditions mean, and where each one appears.
A condition belongs to one ingredient. In
Talandar =
Karax X+ 90% +
Alarak X+ 90%, both units must meet it; in
Mohander =
Purifier Colossus X+ + 4×
Void Ray, only the Colossus has a condition.
Ranks
The ranks written in recipes are, lowest to highest: S, SS, SSS, X, XD, SXD.
| Written | Meaning |
|---|---|
| SS+ SSS+ X+ XD+ | that rank or better |
| SS SSS | exactly that rank. They appear only on the |
| SXD | the highest rank written. It appears only on |
Is that the whole ladder?
The order is read from the wording of the sources (“Rank SSS or better”, “X or higher”, “both must be X or XD”), not from a list of ranks. Ranks below S never appear in a recipe. If you know the full rank list, it belongs here.
Other conditions
| Written | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Burrowed | the unit must be burrowed when it is merged |
| Level 7 Lv11 | the unit’s level. The older list speaks of units “upgraded to exactly level 3” |
| +300kill | read as: the unit has 300 kills |
| 90% 150% 200% 300% | not explained by either source |
Open question: the percentages
Neither source says what 90%, 150%, 200% or 300% measure. They grow with the rank they are written next to (X+ 90%, X+ 150%, XD+ 200%, SXD 300%), so they look like a second threshold the unit has to reach. The source writes both “SXD 300%” and “SXD +300%”; both spellings are kept as written.
